WHO WE ARE
Hope Village is a loving and caring facility for orphans, vulnerable, abandoned and children infected and/or affected with HIV/Aids. In these homes their basic needs for food, protection and accommodation are met, but also their needs for love, affection, and security.
We endeavour to help each child to reach his/her full potential educationally, psychologically, emotionally, and physically. We give them an opportunity to go to school, to do sport, to do arts and crafts. In this way we want to help them to grow up and become productive members of society.

- Mental and emotional opportunities as it relates to psychological counselling and academic enablement;
- Preparation for adulthood, and to be socially responsible members of society.

FINANCIAL CONTROLS
Hope Village are governed by a board of trustees that oversees all financials of the Village. One of the trustees are an accountant that oversees and report on the financials to the Board. She is assisted by an accounting firm, EL Accounting, who does the books monthly. All necessary controls are built into the system to manage the finances. Budget payments are loaded by EL Accounting and released by the chairperson on the board of trustees. Any once-off payment or out of the ordinary payment must be motivated by the management and approved by the trustees. Hope Village Namibia works strictly according to the yearly approved budget.
